Happy Father's Day
This is my first father's day since my son was born. He has been such a joy to my wife and I! So far it has been such a wonderful experience being a parent, seeing him starting to grow, watching him learn new things, having him smile and laugh when he sees me, Just wonderful! Not that there are not any challenges, there are, but nothings outweighs the pleasure of having him in my life. Parenting does required a certain amount of maturity, just like being married, is not all about you. I think that's why so many people out there fail in marriage/parenting, they just never transition from the mindset of singleness to being in relationship. I do this, that if I would have understood how I would feel about having a child I would have not put it off as long as I did.
To all you dad's out there, happy father's day! To all you who have a dad, don't forget to thank them for being there for you. And for all of you who don't have a dad in your lives but do have someone else that has loved and care for you then go thank them for what they have done. Be it a mom, grandparent, other family member or foster parent.
