This illustration was created for a story that appeared on the on-line magazine Jim Baen's UNIVERSE. [link]
The short story is about a change in time that causes the Scottish troops to win a battle over the Brittish at Culloden.

The challange here was that as I was finishing the piece my computer crashed, scrambling my file. I was never able to get back the image back and had to start all over again. It was a joy...not!

Done in Photoshop.

Aye, nice work here. I really like the element of the lightening/explosion going on in the background. Great colors as always.


Can't help but notice that the main guy has a fanny pack. Heh.:P
