What I am looking for mainly are 1/4 to 1/2 page illustrations, B&W mainly, color depending upon your pricing, of various single characters or creatures. If you would be open to the concept, we are more than happy to leave copyright in your hands to re-license to others for usage if that would get us a lower price, if this is not a business model you wish to deal with, not a problem either.
So, without further ado, details for the piece I am currently looking to get done would be as follows.
The first piece I would am wanting to see done would be a character piece, Mayan/Incan style ruler, young thirties but eyes and features that show a wisdom past his years...I envision him muscular, wearing only a leopard skin wrap (or perhaps a white wrap with a leopard skin belt or sash) around his waist and adornments (feathers, gold rings and baubles, trinkets/trophies tied to leather thongs hanging from arm and leg bands). His class would be a Monk, and he should look as if he could kick the side of a dragon out, and have the confidence to do it, but still be an approachable human (am not looking for a walking steroid junkie, know what I mean). There should be a regal stance in his pose (he rules over a couple tens of thousands of people), and his scepter would have the head of a golden leopard. He is in fact a mummy, though not the rag wrapped rotting type of mummy, so physically he appears as a perfect specimen. The cultural look and feel for his attire and adornments are very much the Mayan/Incan traditional dress, and his over all look and feel will be setting a theme for an entire body of work as the rest of the nation begins to be fleshed out.
So, again, my apologies in my tardiness in responding. Take your time looking it over, and please respond at your convenience with an idea on prices to give me an idea of what I can take back to the guys paying the bills to see if we can do business. I Thank You for your time.
