Fisto - "Heroic Hand to Hand Fighter"

Fisto, the warrior with the big fist. For this update I tried adding a magical approach to his powers. His arm glows with arcane symbols and the gauntlet focuses that energy delivering a powerful blow. A strike that can be almost as strong as He-man's. In the case of He-man his power works through his whole body, Fisto's is limited to his arm. The gauntlet also radiates heat so strong that a punch from Fisto would leave a smoldering crater in whatever rock he hit.

I'm sorry, but Fisto was just one of those characters that was too ridiculous when first introduced. He's gotten better over time... barely.

Great realistic interpretation of Fisto. I love the arcane fiery gauntlet approach you've taken with the fist. The character gets way too much flak for his claim to fame being "has a big fist". I personally came up with a backstory for him where the fist is actually a magical gauntlet forged for one of the giants in Tytus and Megator's day that has fused into his arm, granting him superhuman strength - but only in the right arm. Pretty much the same as your idea actually, minus the fire aspect.

I don't mean to judge or anything, but did you base the design of his arm on Hellboy by any chance?

I can see why you say that but you realize that this is an already existing character. Fisto is at least 20 years older than Hellboy. I just wanted to update him, modernize him. I did think of Hellboy when I was working on him some there's some hints in the designs but I wasn't trying to bring that in too much.
